Native Joy.

I've lived in Los Angeles my entire life. My mother was born here (Fairfax High) and dad was an early Chicagoan transplant (Beverly Hills High.) Last night, driving home, I experienced a rare thrill; there was fresh pavement on Coldwater Canyon! Having learned to drive on Coldwater (Grant High driver's ed.) I am all too familiar with the bumps and pits north of Mullholland. For the first time in my driving memory, there was none of that, just a smooth ride. Heaven!
