Operation: Successful!

Rand is now resting comfortably in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai after his brain biopsy. We'll hopefully know more in 4-5 days (they're trying to pinpoint a suspected virus) and he should be home in a couple of days.

He now has a nickel-sized piece of titanium in his cranium; hopefully, he won't set off any metal detectors in the future.
