Just got these workshop descriptions from artist/instructor Teresa McFayden:
A is for Autograph*A shabby style altered book with a friendship theme. We'll create a treasure of a book using one of my favorite, doable binding techniques. So versatile and simple. We'll design a cover, add a handle, ribbons, and a fun closure, all the while playing and learning some of my favorite collage enhancing techniques. The ideal keepsake to have all your special friends sign and a way to keep them close to your heart.
*Mise en Place*(a/k/a: a place for everything) We'll construct a stationer's box with vintage inspired patterned papers, ribbon and fancy fance. Next we'll create several cards using stamps, paint, papers, collage techniques, stitches, embellishments, and sentiments. A bounty of beautifully designed cards, tags and envelopes encased a breathtaking box. Your desk will look so spiffy with this little number on it!
*Charmed, I'm Sure*If you've been wanting to master your soldering skills, this workshop is for you. We'll design a couple soldered glass charms filled with your artwork, and a variety of other object d'art trinkets. You'll leave the class with a beautiful charm bracelet you will love and can wear proudly...you little silversmith you! (good quality, minimum 100 watt soldering iron needed for this class)
*Her Journey Within*We'll create an art journal and complete several art and soul lessons inside it. The best part is the premise for the journal: YOU. Talk about an amazing journey. This workshop is usually done in a 4 part lesson format, but will be adapted to fit our cruise schedule. Since we are together so long, it's going to perfect setting for this exploration! So fulfilling on many different levels.Students always consider this to be one of their favorite and most rewarding classes I offer.
