The view from the crest; Olympic Boulevard entering Beverly Hills. The red brick fence on the left marks the perimeter of the High School. I just loved the way the clouds were resting on the lower hill tops.





This sight is one we'll never see again; the crowds lined up for the night, hoping beyond their dreams that they'll be selected to go up on stage with Bob Barker tomorrow, when his final "The Price is Right" appearances will be taped. Tents, lawn chairs and make-shift shelters were set up all along Fairfax at Beverly (in front of CBS Studios.) I had mistaken them for a misplaced group of homeless with an odd "tent city", but when I saw the location, the reality of their idealized determination set in.
